The Candidate should have,

Experience in dealing with Statutory Authorities Viz., State & Center Pollution Control Boards, MoEF & Factories Department and local bodies.
Process chemical industry back ground, Exposure to HAZOP and HAZAN studies.
Conversant with factory act, environment act and other statutes. Shall have got exposure to management systems like EMS, OHSAS, Process Safety and 5S etc.
Shall have worked and handled independently EHS department
Must be capable of independently handling EHS department, reporting to Unit head. Experience in training, guiding line Managers is essential.

The candidate skills required in,

Leadership.
Liaison & technical skills,.
Written & oral communication skills.
Systems approach.
Planning & coordination.

The candidate needs to be a Graduate Engineer or equivalent in discipline chemical, mechanical, electrical. Preferable is RLI safety Diploma and or any other
